Sun Group Inc., an amalgamation of companies formerly branded Caribbean World Travel Services, is headquartered in Barbados and operates 51 offices in 11 countries, employing over 700 people. The Group is chaired by Bernard Weatherhead.

Originally established in 1982, the Sun Group encompasses operations in hotels, retail travel, land and sea adventures, duty free retail, vehicle rentals, ground transportation, destination management, villa rental, convenience shopping and insurance services.

A family-run business, each of Bernard’s two sons, Alfredo and Rod, are Managing Directors for sizable divisions of the operation, and Marilda Weatherhead, Bernard’s wife, owns and manages two Frangipani Art gallery locations.

The success of the Group is largely attributed to the Chairman’s keen business acumen and almost 40 years of experience, combined with a dedicated team; young, innovative management, and a strong financial base.
